This is because we have found that TBL educators mark and weight grades very differently. Some will only give students a TRAT score if they achieve a minimum on the IRAT. Others will disregard the low and the high IRAT scores. Others will adjust application case scores by the peer evaluation rating. Rather than build features to accommodate all the different grading permutations, we provide the data in a way that faculty can manipulate easily to apply their chosen grading methodology. Early on one of the learning tech experts at Duke advised us to focus our development efforts on making a great TBL software, not a great grading software because there are too many permutations to do it really effectively and build a great TBL software.

Note on grade disclosure: We also provide options for faculty to release grades for viewing within InteDashboard so that students can see their results in InteDashboard without having to wait for anything to be transferred to the LMS.
