How Long Does It Take for the Students to Activate Their Accounts?

You may wonder how long the activation of student accounts takes and if it’s possible to activate more than one student account at the same time.

  • To quickly answer this. The answer is that it takes just a minute or two. Basically, when you send out an invitation to your student, they will get an activation email from InteDashboard which will ask them to set a password. Through this specific way the activation happens as soon as they set their password, and there are no caps on how many students can activate their accounts at once. So you can try to activate 300 accounts at once if you wish.


  • If you’re using the LMS integration route, then the activation of student accounts happens as soon as students click on the InteDashboard button or link from within the LMS you’re using for your class. For example, Canvas, Brightspace, etc.
